UK PCI public consultation report available

Consultation PCI

Following on from the consultations carried out in France and Ireland, information concerning how the project impacts the United Kingdom was made available to the British public as part of a dedicated consultation process. This consultation was directed at people potentially interested in the route of the project’s maritime cable. The cable passes, approximately 30 km west of the Isles of Scilly and 75 km west of the British coast, through the exclusive economic zone of the United Kingdom.

To conduct this consultation, a dedicated online portal was made available to the British public. The platform has been closed to questions since Monday July 13, 2020 but remains accessible for reference until May 31, 2021. The PCI public consultation report as well as a video explaining the consultation process is now also available for review.
